Rain Rain Go Away

So yes it has continued to rain, blah! On a bright note though it's suppose to be nice starting on Tuesday through at least Saturday, so that is something to look forward to. For the moment though it's raining and about 48 degrees. This weekend we had some guests Roland and Gita, who I'm not entirely sure what the connection is between them and Andrea but according to her it's "complicated." Hopefully they had a nice time despite all the rain.

On another note I keep seeing posts about Toy Story 3 on facebook which makes me insanely jealous because it doesn't come out here until the end of July and even then I can't be guaranteed it'll play in English since it's a kids movie. I love the first two movies and I can still quote the first one. This is my favorite one which I copied off of imdb because it's really too long to quote accurately.

Buzz: [Woody, scared, walks backwards and he gets startled by Buzz. Buzz keeps talking to his "mission log"] And according to my navi-computer, the...

Woody: [whispering] SHUT UP! Just, SHUT UP, you idiot!

Buzz: Sheriff, this is no time to panic.

Woody: This is a perfect time to panic! I'm lost, Andy is gone, they're gonna move to their new house in two days, AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!

Buzz: Mine? My fault? If you hadn't pushed me out of the window in the first place...

Woody: Oh yeah? Well, if you hadn't shown up with your stupid little cardboard spaceship and taken away everything that was important to me...

Buzz: Don't talk to me about importance! Because of *you*, the future of this entire universe is in jeopardy!

Woody: WHAT? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

Buzz: Right now, poised at the edge of the galaxy, Emperor Zurg has been secretly building a weapon with the destructive capacity to annihilate an entire planet! I alone have information that reveals this weapon's only weakness. And *you*, my friend, are responsible for delaying my rendezvous with Star Command!

Woody: [pauses and looks incredulous] YOU! ARE! A! TOYYYYY! You aren't the real Buzz Lightyear! You're - you're an action figure!

[holds hand up to eyes indicating something small]

Woody: You are a child's play thing!

Buzz: You are a sad, strange little man, and you have my pity.

[waves in military fashion]

Buzz: Farewell.

[starts to walk away]

Woody: Oh, yeah? Well, good riddance, ya loony!

I have to say I'm totally looking forward to the Ken doll in this movie. I'm also still waiting for Shrek 4 because again it doesn't come out here until the beginning of July and again it may not even be in English, sigh. But the first 2 movies are some of my favorites (we won't mention number 3 but apparantly this one is better). Again some favorite quotes.

Lord Farquaad: Run, run, run as fast as you can. You can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread Man.

Gingerbread Man: You're a monster.

Lord Farquaad: I'm not the monster here, you are. You and the rest of that fairy tale trash, poisoning my perfect world. Now tell me, where are the others?

Gingerbread Man: Eat me!

[spits]

Lord Farquaad: [Wiping spit from his face] I've tried to be fair to you creatures, now my patience has reached it's end! Tell me or I'll...

Gingerbread Man: NO! Not the buttons! Not my gumdrop buttons!

Lord Farquaad: Alright then! Who's hiding them?

Gingerbread Man: Ok. I'll tell you. Do you know... the muffin man?

Lord Farquaad: The muffin man?

Gingerbread Man: The muffin man.

Lord Farquaad: Yes, I know the muffin man. W-who lives on Drewery Lane?

Gingerbread Man: Well, she's married to the muffin man.

Lord Farquaad: The muffin man?

Gingerbread Man: THE MUFFIN MAN!

Lord Farquaad: She's married to the muffin man...

Donkey: Whoa. Look at that. Who'd wanna live in a place like that?

Shrek: That would be my home.

Donkey: Oh and it is LOVELY. You know, you're really quite a decorator. It's amazing what you've done with such a modest budget. I like that boulder. That is a NICE boulder.

I also have to say that Puss in Boots is pretty much awesome.

So before I go I'd just like to say Happy Father's Day (which they don't celebrate here resulting in me nearly forgetting...oops)
