So I woke up this morning to find a fresh layer of snow on the ground. So naturally I put my snow boots on to trek towards the train. My German class is going well. I have learned a lot. This week we have learned how to talk about ourselves. Mein name is Tamara. Ich komme aus den USA, und ich wohne in Gais. Ich bin dreiundzwanzig Jahre alt, und ich bin au pair von Beruf. Ich bin lebig und nicht habe kinder. (my name is Tamara. I am from the USA, and I live in Gais. I am twenty-three years old, and I am an au pair. I am single and do not have children.) The walk back home today was particularly hard and I felt like I had run a marathon as it was very hard to breathe. I made tacos for dinner with homemade salsa and guacamole, and they were very well received. I think they were quite good myself. This evening Ryan said good night to me in English (his dad is teaching him a few words).
