So I decided to test out my German skills and let you all be my Guinea Pigs.

Am Sonntag haben wir nach Appenzell gefahren. Wir sind gelauft und haben in der Cafe Kaffee und heisse Schokolade getrunken. Ich habe Suss gekauft. Ich habe alles gegessen. Es war gut.

So basically I just said that on Sunday we went to Appenzell and walked around for a bit. We stopped at a cafe and had coffee and hot chocolate. There was this little sweet shop there and I bought these sweets and I have already eaten all of them because they were good. I think they are some sort of toffee, but basically they were like peanut brittle without the peanuts, so essentially just brittle. They were really addicting. It has snowed again for the past 2 days, yuck, but the weather forecast is promising with continuing warmer days, so it seems that maybe Spring has finally decided to arrive. I think we will all be very happy. We all seem very tired of the snow and are wishing for warmer days when we can go out and do things. My German class is winding down. I have my final tests this week and it ends next week. I decided to take a break from class because I find it hard going only 3 days a week and would rather be able to attend all the lessons. This class has been very helpful though and now that I know all the basic grammar I will probably pick the Rosetta Stone back up to help with vocab. I just realized that today is my two month anniversary here. I must say it has gone by very quickly. Before I know it I will be back home and a thorn in my mother's side again, haha. But anyway, just one last update, Andrea made a doctor's appointment for me, so on Friday I go to have my iron checked and we will see what she says.
