Cirkus Knie

Today we went to the Swiss national circus in St. Gallen called Cirkus Knie, and it was very nice. It was in an actual circus tent set up in a park and had lots of nice acts. There weren't any traditional clowns, but there were these two guys who played the role of the clowns. There was also a man dressed as a woman who did some sort of act. There were lots of different kinds of acrobats (several like what you might see in Cirque de Soleil), cats that did tricks, dogs that did tricks, elephants, horses, camels, llamas, and zebras that did tricks (no Lion though) and tightrope walkers. At one point in the show it looked like one of the guys was going to fall off the rope, but he had these things on his feet that essentially just twirled him around on it, and it was obviously a ploy to give the audience a shock but it totally worked. There was a short intermission and we had some ice cream and popcorn and all in all in was a nice time. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to take pictures of the show, but I got a few of the outside and beforehand.
