So Andrea gave me some earplugs that ended up being great. They were considerably helpful when Ryan would get up, especially when he was being onery. We spent the majority of the day at the beach. It was cloudy that day which helped it stay cool thought it was fiarly humid. I started a book that I borrowed called The Lovely Bones which ended up being somewhat interesting. When I came back to the beach in the afternoon, there was a dog chilling out next to our beach chairs. I went ahead and moved because besides the dog, in order to stay in the shade I would have had to move half into the water. For dinner we went to the Votsalakia Tavern right next to the beach. I had fried cheese with honey and also Mousaka. The cheese was good, but I didn't care too much for the mousaka. It just wasn't my thing. There also were about a bajillion cats roaming around our table. It is quite common for strays to hang around the restaurants begging for food and I think that night there were at least 6 or 7 hanging around. The cats seriously are everywhere, but they definitely know where to find food. Which reminds me that the day before on the way to the dog, I literally saw a poor little kitten be mauled by a stray dog. It was horrible. Maybe they need Bob Barker to come and advocate for pet population control.
